I think it would make sense to allow users to manage workspace access rights at the organizational level as well.
For example:
A political party, let’s call it "PolCom", is responsible for sharing data with the local branches in each city or village. The employees at the central party office have contracts and formal roles, while members of local branches participate voluntarily. They cannot be granted access to something like SharePoint, and local branches should not have access to each other’s data since each local branch might track birthdates, events and other sensible data of it´s citizen. Treating each city/village branch as a separate organization with limited trust makes perfect sense — which is where TruSpace comes in.
As the parent organization, I wouldn’t want to manage access rights for 173 private workspaces at the individual user level, especially given that responsibilities and users frequently change due to the voluntary nature of participation.
