macOS Installation Fails

When doing as suggested by the installation on macOS:

It fails:

$ brew install btfs
btfs: Linux is required for this software.
libfuse@2: Linux is required for this software.
Error: btfs: Unsatisfied requirements failed this build.

Pretty sure this would require a major rework as a FileProvider extension to run on any recent version of macOS (sadly).

Oh? I thought Fuse was working fine on macOS 14.4 currently: https://github.com/osxfuse/osxfuse/releases

FWIW, you can now brew install gromgit/fuse/btfs. I'm using the free GitHub runners to build Homebrew bottles, so you'll be building from source if you're not running at least Ventura on Intel, or Sonoma on ARM, but at least there's hope.

I've only done limited manual testing on ARM Sonoma, but mounting an Ubuntu Server 24.04 torrent seems to work fine. Unmounting can take a long time though, for reasons unknown.

And it requires a working MacFUSE installation, so brew install --cask macfuse first.
