MXRoute email server integration

💡 The Idea

Would it be possible for you to add MXRoute in your email servers? It's a custom email server which allows me to use my own owned domains but through central management. Details are as follows:

Username: xxx@customdomain.com
Password: Use the email account’s password.
Incoming Server: ocean.mxroute.com
IMAP Port: 993 POP3 Port: 995
Outgoing Server: ocean.mxroute.com
SMTP Port: 465
IMAP, POP3, and SMTP require authentication.
Hide Non SSL/TLS Settings
Non-SSL Settings (NOT Recommended)
Username: xxx@customdomain.com
Password: Use the email account’s password.
Incoming Server: mail.customdomain.com
IMAP Port: 143 POP3 Port: 110
Outgoing Server: mail.customdomain.com
SMTP Port: 587
IMAP, POP3, and SMTP require authentication.

since you don't have a pre-defined set of domains that take on this configuration, there is no real easy way to make a template out of it.

The default mode of mailtos:// is startls. But you can over-ride this with mailto://credentials?mode=ssl. The ports needed are automatically switched between 465 or 587 based on the mode.

It should just work as:

• mailtos://customdomain.com?user=<email>&password=<password>&smtp=ocean.mxroute.com&mode=ssl
• mailtos://customdomain.com?user=<email>&password=<password>&smtp=mail.customdomain.com

What were you expecting in terms of how the URL would be generated?

Yeah, sorry, I'm just absolutely confounded here. My username is explicitly listed by MXRoute to be my full email address, so: changes@example.com, with my SMTP server of ocean.mxroute.com and, with SSL/TLS port 465. But I'm pretty sure I've tried every combination of mailtos:// URL but to no avail. When I've done it elsewhere I can just put in changes@example.com as the username and ocean.mxroute.com as the SMTP server name, but even with your SMTP examplse I can't get it to work... The error I'm mostly seeing is:
