I'm also not sure about the specifications. Browsers render it fine, the file preview on windows not. |

I am not sure this is an issue but it could be one.
When doing simple strokes with colors (tried different pens, etc), exporting the file to svg and opening the file in other tools (win):
Looking inside the svg (side note: using a line feed once in a while would help the readability for a file size cost that is marginal), the colors are coded with
fill="#11223344"which could be RGBA (?).This does not seem recognized by inkscape but the color shows if removing the last two digits to leave 6 characters only.
I am no SVG expert (really) so I don't know if it should be recognized but a quick search mentions fill-opacity=... in https://www.w3.org/TR/SVG2/painting.html#FillOpacity which seems recognized by inkscape.
So I don't know if anything and what should be done (no SVG expert) but increasing the compatibility with common tools would be good.
