rsync not found

I'm trying to set up my first github actions pipeline and I'm pushing my artifacts to a remote server using rsync-deployments. when reaching the deployment stage i get an error message saying that rsync is not found, but then it is listing some other rsync errors. Can anybody help me in the right direction here?

I figured it out eventually. the problem was that rsync was missing on the target machine.

Exactly, in order for rsync to work, it needs to be installed first on your host.
